Eleventh hour talks between British Airways and its cabin crew union have failed and the strike will go ahead from Midnight. BA worked tirelessly to end the strike before it could happen but the Union has prevented all progress.
So what are the new BA strike dates?
There will now be a series of three 5 day strikes. The dates are:
May 24-29th
May 30-June 4th
June 5th to June 9th
As they did in the previous strikes, British Airways has a contignency plan in place and they plan to fly 60% of their capacity with strike breaking crews and cabin crews that refuse to strike.

We are very disappointed that Unite’s appeal has been upheld, reintroducing the threat of strike action.
Our key concern now is to keep as many of you flying as possible and we will be proceeding with our contingency plans.
We would like to apologise to any of you who are affected by the strike. We will do all we can to minimise the disruption to you.
Some previously cancelled flights to and from London Heathrow up to 23 May are being reinstated.
Please do not come to the airport unless you have a confirmed booking.Flights to and from London City and London Gatwick
All flights into and out of London Gatwick and London City airports will operate normally.
I can also add that BA will fly at 60% capacity out of Heathrow – with most longhual flights going forward as scheduled.
If you’re flying BA over the next couple weeks – check your booking – you will be notified if the strike will affect your flight and if you can be rebooked or if the flight has been cancelled.
